This Adobe software package focuses on creating an improved work space and work flow system for easier use and navigation. Adobe Creative Suite 5’s digital toolbox packages, including Adobe CS5 Production Premium, allows for easy and faster cross-application working. This way, Adobe CS5 Production Premium makes efficient application integration, allowing easy import and export of files from one application to another. Graphics and images created or edited in Photoshop, for example, can be easily transferred to and from Premiere to be used in the movie.
Adobe CS4 Production Premium supports the latest digital file formats. Its interface panels are improved to become more “lively” and user-friendly.
Production Premium Working Through: System Setup, Interface, and Installation
Installation of Adobe CS5 Production Premium requires an operating system of at least Windows XP SP2 of Vista. This operating system must be run by a processor working at 2 GHz or faster and higher. High system specifications are needed since the use of Adobe CS5 Production Premium involves dealing with high definition videos. Installation is facilitated by a DVD for both Windows and Mac users. The system must be compatible with OpenGL 2.0 graphics card. It must also have a 1280 x 900 display, as well as a Shader Model 3.0 support. However, Mac users will need different system specifications to be able to install Adobe CS4 Production Premium: an Intel-based machine, OS X v10.4.11 to 10.5.4 at the very least, a RAM of at least 2 GB, and at least 20.6 GB of available space in the hard disk.
Installation takes a long time, since it includes number of applications. Adobe requires that other applications, particularly MS Office applications and browsers, must be closed while the installation runs.
