    Default Why Linux?

I spoke to my friend a couple of times regarding the issue of whether to switch to Linux from Windows. I have been a Windows user, and while I may occasionally run into various problems with Windows, I am still a Windows user.

What are the reasons to switch to Linux?

A new version expands the number of Windows applications you can run on Linux. Some Linux users insist that anything you can do on Windows, you can do better on Linux. It has a awesome package management system, and is i686 optimised, so its really easy to update and runs really fast.
